Spring Boudoir Photoshoot

Wow y’all, March was a DOOZY. After 3.5 years of being a full time photographer you’d think I’d be able to balance my work out better to be able to keep up with the blog/email list/social media AND editing — no 😂

What’s most important is that I’m here now, and I have more boudoir baddies to share with you! With each and every session, I send what’s called a model release for you to sign. It tells me what level of online sharing you’re comfortable with for your boudoir photos. You can keep them totally private, give permission to share them all, only specific photos or outfits, or only anonymous photos. You get to control what is seen and what isn’t — and there’s never a wrong answer. Ultimately, your photos are for you to enjoy, so there’s no judgement however you decide.

The joy for me in sharing session from people who are comfortable with it, is getting to show more and more types of women in boudoir. Which in turn, can help encourage more and more types of women to DO boudoir for themselves! It’s a domino effect in encouragement, so I’m excited to show you a recent session that will hopefully continue that. For this session, my beautiful Muse Hailey decided she wanted to do both a light and dark set for her session, which is super popular, by the way. You can have your cake and eat it too! She loved the whimsy of the floating florals installation, so we started there for the whole spring vibe. Then she did a full transformation of hair and makeup to go to the dark side. She also included personal elements, like bringing along her boyfriend’s favorite flannel (he def texted her during the session and asked where it was 💀) We laughed so much, and her photos came out like a dream. She took home an album chock full of her favorites! The perfect anniversary gift for both of them!!
