Hollywood Glam Boudoir Photoshoot

Welcome back! It’s been a minute since I’ve posted on the blog, but I’ve got some more amazing photos to share with you that should not be kept away any longer. If you’ve been around for a while you may recognize this beauty, but if not, this is Crystal, my mom!! She is a veteran Muse, and this glamorous photoshoot was her 3rd! I can’t tell you how special it is to photograph people more than once for boudoir, celebrating different seasons of life, and how much more comfortable and confident they are with each session. My mom is no different, she came in and you can tell this was not her first rodeo. What an amazing example I have to look up to!

In the planning stage of the boudoir experience, we put together a moodboard that is collaborative. This way we can share ideas, inspiration, and curate a vision for your photoshoot that speaks to you and how you want see yourself in the final photos. Crystal was super inspired by this photoshoot I did back in January with a glam look, and wanted to go with a similar vibe. She also hadn’t worn the Luxe robe before, and had to make sure we had a moment for that as well! Doing these moodboards with my Muses is so helpful for me as an artist. Just like posing direction is helpful for you, visual direction and inspiration on hand to help guide the session is great for me! It minimizes lulls in the session, and helps me be reminded of the “end goal” for our photoshoot. Along with inspo photos, we include keywords that help hone in the driving emotions for your session, which can also get everyone into the right headspace, which reflects in you and me!

Have a scroll through this Hollywood glam inspired boudoir photoshoot, and watch the magic unfold from beginning to end.

The spotlight is one of my favorite new things at the studio. It gives a showgirl vibe, burlesque stage look. It can be as edgy or as glam as you like! I usually like to dip into a little of both.

The luxe robe is notorious for making clients feel on top of the world, and you can see the confidence dripping from these photos!! She is soft, yet powerful. I love how we can play with juxtapositions in photography, showing that women are detailed and layered.

I love how glam this session turned out. And Crystal loved it too! We designed her album together, and it was nearly impossible choosing which images would go into it. She also got herself a wall art print, and a retro viewmaster! My favorite problem to have is you loving so many images that it’s hard to choose. But the best part is knowing you’re going to be looking back on those images with love for yourself.
