Fort Vancouver Senior Photography
Phew — it’s been a long time since I’ve posted on this blog! I have too much goodness to share with you to keep it any longer. So without further ado, let me share some DREAMY senior photos from last fall with the lovely Andrea!
Typical with a lot of seniors, she was a bit worried about looking awkward, and not knowing how to pose herself. For many people, their senior photoshoot is the first experience with professional photography! Especially focused just on them, rather than family photos where the attention is sort of spread among everyone. It can be an intimidating thought, but it shouldn’t be scary! I work with each senior closely, guiding them through every pose and facial expression, making sure they’re comfortable and relaxed. By the end, they all note how they had a lot more fun than they thought, and it makes getting photos done a little less scary for next time. Win-win!
Fort Vancouver — Officer’s Row
Officer’s Row played as our backdrop, and we got the most beautiful light to bring these images to life. Andrea did amazing, we had a lot of fun together. The best part about Fort Vancouver is that there’s something to work with in every season. Of course, summer and autumn are the prime seasons, but you can still get really great senior photos all year round. Beautiful gazebos, trees, and the colonial buildings make for beautiful backdrops.
A few of these photos were taken next to a tree on the edge of a parking lot — there’s truly no bad spot at the fort! You can get a good mix of urban setting and more natural/park in the same walk. Highly recommend this spot for senior photos in Vancouver.
I offer senior photography sessions all year, throughout Vancouver, Portland and surrounding areas! Looking for a photographer to capture your senior in timeless, creative imagery? Fill out a contact form to get started! Full and mini sessions are available.
