Urban Senior Photos - Portland, OR

I’m about to knock your socks off with Maya’s senior session so buckle up, she SLAYED. I had the pleasure of taking her brother’s senior photos a couple years ago, so I was super excited when I got the news she wanted me to take hers as well! It’s extra special when I get to keep photographing a family through the years and milestones, one of the MANY perks of my job.

Maya said she really wanted a more urban setting, and she wanted to come down to Portland from Tacoma to get the perfect look! And in true Portland fashion, the weekend we were planning on called for rain - 100% chance of rain lol. So obvi I booked us Daylight Creative Space a.k.a. my home away from home, which offers so much variety in a studio space while still totally fitting the urban vibe. We started there, and by the grace of God the rain held off pretty well and we were able to take some outdoor shots too! The studio is located in a sort of industrial area, so there’s lots of brick and empty streets to use as backdrops. We wandered down to Schoolhouse Electric Supply Co. and did shots down the road where gorgeous fall trees lined the street, and the building offered up as a great background. It was so much fun, and Maya brought all the personality and modeling gorgeousness to her senior photos. She even brought her bestie for a few shots as well! So honored to have gotten to create these awesome milestone photographs for her, and I know you’re going to love them! Enjoy!
