Tri-Cities Washington Backyard Wedding
Ah, I’m so happy to be blogging again! I have a toooon of sessions and weddings to share with you all, so we’re kicking it off with this romantic backyard wedding in Tri-Cities, WA! Charlotte and I went to middle school together, and had stayed connected on facebook. She had referred Hannah & Devin to me back in 2018, so it was exciting when it was her turn! Charlotte & Jared really care for each other, and I felt like I saw their love the most in their laughter.
Backyard weddings have a special charm about them that you can’t get at any other venue. Charlotte & Jared’s wedding had that charm, taking place at Jared’s family home and property. The ceremony was one corner of the yard, with a giant field to the left and alpacas to the right! The reception area was adorned with greenery, and they had a sweet spot where they displayed photos of Charlotte & Jared, and various photos of them and their families! In addition to never having visited Tri-cities before, I was also exposed to another first - doves released during the first kiss! It was surreal (and a surprise to me!), and made for a totally magical moment to introduce them as married.
The reception was celebrated with a taco bar, beer, moving speeches, and the sweetest father daughter dance that brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it. Take a scroll, and enjoy! xo
