Moody Portland Hotel Boudoir
Yay! Please pop a bottle with me (real or metaphorical) and celebrate the first blog post on the Bloom Boudoir blog! 🥳 I’m so excited to get this started, and allow you all to be able to take a look at full galleries, when I have permission from the beautiful muse in the photos of course. You won’t see everyone I photograph here, or possibly anywhere online, if someone chooses to keep their images private. And that’s okay! But I so appreciate those that do allow me to share so they can encourage you to experience this luxury for yourself.
The first babe to grace the blog is only fitting - the very first full on boudoir shoot that kickstarted this journey for me! Hannah was a bride of mine from 2018, and we became fast friends afterwards. We were chatting once and she said she really wanted to do a boudoir photoshoot, but wanted ME to photograph it. At that time, I had barely dipped my toe into boudoir, and not even seriously. I told her she was taking a chance, but I was willing to try. She said “let’s do this!” and we had a freaking blast! 2 years later and I’m still so in love with her images. After this session, I was never the same, and lead me to where I am now!

Her session takes place at the Benson Hotel in Portland, Or. It had these gorgeous, deep emerald green walls, a huge king size bed, and a sweet bathroom (we took photos in there, too!) Her darker, moody aesthetic and wardrobe fit so well, and she rocked every single one of her looks. Enjoy xo
