Glowing Boudoir Photoshoot on the Beach - Portland, OR
This post we are simultaneously celebrating and saying farewell to summer with this gorgeous, glowy outdoor boudoir session. I have really been finding joy in outdoor sessions (I even did my own this year!) and I wanted to design and direct a photoshoot that was channeling ✨mother nature✨ The shoot took place at the beach on Sauvie Island, in the glow of the summer sunset.
I connected with incredible model Cassandra, and the very talented glam squad Stevi & Shantel to make it happen. Cassandra got to shopping immediately and got these two gorgeous lingerie sets from Savage X Fenty. The colors were so gorgeous, and that blue popped so beautifully! We started with the white floral two-piece lingerie set and used a white sheet, baby’s breath, and oranges to set the scene. I love the colors and how those oranges really compliment the greenery.
Next, in the bright blue floral teddy, we took apart the set and went with the natural landscape. The backlit glow from the setting sun, and the branches framing Cassandra, I was totally getting vibes from one of my favorite photographers Irene Rudnyk! I love the depth and story it created. When we hit the water, Cassandra transformed into her final form as a 90’s supermodel. It was incredible, and the boudoir poses she was hitting are still inspiring me now! If you’re wanting a low key beach shoot without a huge crowd on the coast, this spot just outside of Portland, OR is a great option!!
