Sultry Boudoir Collab with Jess
As we continue to break in the new look at the studio, we continue to collaborate and meet new talented women in Portland! This shoot with Jess was so fun, fast-paced, with a lot of different outfits. Connecting with other creative women is one of the many perks of having this job, and I’m so excited to share these gorgeous photos with you!
When I work with models, it gives me more opportunities to experiment without risk. I like to use my time with models to try out new angles, new poses, etc. without the need to deliver anything specific. Then I can take all the good stuff I learned and bring fresh ideas to my clients! Woohoo!
Jess was incredible, she can pose herself like a pro, but also takes my direction and guidance so well, too. We put our heads together to find beautiful poses and interesting compositions. We got some light, and some dark on that sexy green wall. Plus she brought a ton of cute outfits so we were able to get a ton of variety! But just because a model has a leg up on posing, doesn’t mean you can’t get photos like this too. I work with every client during their photoshoot, guiding you and directing you through every pose. I will do the poses right alongside you so that you can mirror me (I do this with models, too!) to make sure you can see what I’m doing, and feel good about doing it yourself. I’ll give you the occasional sneak peek on the back of the camera so you can see just how well it works.
