I photographed this set with Portland model Naly who is such a sweetheart, and overflowing with talent. She did her own hair and makeup for this, and modeled the set with sensuality and elegance, it was everything we needed to bring the floating florals to life!
I wanted the installation to be warm (a nice change from this dreadful winter,) a bit playful, and very feminine. We played with colors, lighting, outfits and props to see all that was possible with the flowers. I absolutely love this outcome, and I can’t wait to photograph more beautiful Muses in it! The sky is the limit with the floating floral installation! The layers of flowers give photos this great dimension, and the colors bring the warm spring energy. The whole thing has a very ethereal quality to it, perfect for sensual, feminine boudoir.
