Taylor Swift Eras (Bloom Boudoir Version)

Hello fellow Swifties, because I know you’re the only ones who clicked on this post 😂 This is such a random post, but I was listening to TTPD (obvi) and just thinking how each album has such a distinct vibe. I thought to myself “I bet I have at least one photo that would match each album…” And here we are. I absolutely do.

I thought it would be fun to put a blog post together that shows the photos I picked for each album, and we can also talk about potential theme ideas, or inspo you could take from each one for your own photoshoot! Do you like the aesthetic of your favorite album? Or would you go rogue and pick a different one?! Let’s take a look, and you can let me know at the end.

Taylor Swift (Debut)

Model: Mikaela

I haven’t done many outdoor sessions, but this one just happened to be PERFECT to pair with the debut album! It’s got the greens, and the soft, innocent kind of tone.

Inspo Notes:

Channeling this album could look like those green, blue and white colors in the environment and your outfits. Debut has a softness to it, think florals, greenery, and free flowing movement. Doing it outside in a body of water is extra credit!

Fearless (Taylor’s Version)

I’m sure I’m not alone, but Fearless is GOLD in my mind. The color, the shine and sparkle! And the energy of fearlessness, which 100% translates to a confident af boudoir photo. I love the drama of the gold satin sheet in this shot, and Mckenzie’s pose and expression are stunning.

Inspo Notes:

You’re going to want to bring gold, shimmer, and shine! This could be a sheet like in the photo, a sexy dress, body shimmer, or even gold jewelry. A fan blowing your hair around would probably be a knockout as well.

Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)

Model: Naly

The album that raised me 🙏 The purple, the twirls, the songs that send you into spirals of love and sorrow. The luxe robe is actually amazing for this vibe, 10/10. The sleeve toss from Naly is a 10000/10.

Inspo Notes:

Light fabrics, pinks and purples are going to serve you well for this vibe. Fall in love, breakup, rebound, break up again. Jk, but you can embody that dreamy, enchanted energy for a shoot inspired by Speak Now.

Red (Taylor’s Version)

Red. That’s it. That’s the album. That’s the photo.

Inspo Notes:

Bold. Red. More red.

1989 (Taylor’s Version)

Model: Shantel

I could not pick between these two gorgeous photos of Shantel to match the 1989 aesthetic (can you blame me!?) This album is so bright and playful in it’s energy and sounds, I thought both images were a great match.

Inspo Notes:

Pale outfit colors are a great way to channel the brightness, like white and soft blue. If you are game to brave the beach, you absolutely should. I know just the place too, just saying 😎

Reputation

Are you ready for it? This photo has everything from Reputation — black and white, bold contrast, big fucking attitude. All the ingredients for a revenge album (photo album that is.)

Inspo Notes:

For reputation inspo, you want lots of contrast. Black and white, you could even throw in accents of red or green (a bold red lip, perhaps?) Whatever you do, bring a badass energy that screams F U at everyone that’s wronged you. ~~~healing vibes😇~~~~

Lover

Lover is pink! Lover is bright! Lover is delulu! This image has 2 of those 3 things! I loved that the pink and orange lens effect goes with the light leak effect on the album cover. It’s giving girly and light and delusional optimism. Nice.

Inspo Notes:

Film or film effects like light leaks are great for a Lover inspired shoot. As well as incorporating the colors from the album cover and music videos (aka all shades of pink, with some yellow and soft blue thrown in.) Smiles, laughing and dream-like whimsy are all welcome.

Folklore

This white sweater moment from this cozy girl photoshoot is so folklore. You can just hear August playing quietly in the background, and you can imagine a novel and a glass of red wine just off camera.

Inspo Notes:

Lean into the late summer/early fall look — cardigans, calvin klein sets, white sheets, and a cool breeze. The light side of my studio is also a great backdrop for this! Reminiscent expressions and faraway gazing will also do well here.

Evermore

Model: Sydney

I’m proud of this match for Evermore. This photo of Sydney embodies the hazy, soft feel of the album. It feels candid, raw, emotional, and warm — all the things I feel when I listen to Evermore.

Inspo Notes:

Simple and warm color palettes would be perfect for an Evermore inspired shoot. Sheer fabrics and blankets can be layered, and longing looks into the distance can be utilized. For the vibe, of course.

Midnights

I LOVE this photo for Midnights! It totally reminds me of the album cover aesthetic, and has the dramatic and dark vibes of the songs. The motion blur is extra credit.

Inspo Notes:

If you go off the vibes, go with dark blues, purples, and black. If you go off the song, go with Maroon. Add motion blur for extra credit. Spotlight for Vigilante Shit.

The Tortured Poets Department

Model: Madison

This photo is absolutely giving TTPD!!! She’s melancholic! She’s feminine! She’s black and white! But she’s definitely not giving the light of day to the smallest man who ever lived.

Inspo Notes:

If you’re up for it, do a full black and white photoshoot. COMMIT! But seriously, embracing femininity (and the rage that comes with that) is key. A corset top is a 10. Be unhinged. Be ready to throw yourself onto the bed in a very dramatic fashion.

How did I do?! I think I did my girl well, I hope you think so too! This was so fun to put together, and I hope it inspires your next boudoir shoot with some Swiftie energy! Ready to do a boudoir session (Your Version) ?! Let’s chat about what’s inspiring you, how you want to feel, and get you on the calendar. We’re in this together, babe.
