Fun Retro Rollerskates Boudoir Session

My muse Mikaela and I are back with another fun, creative session from the studio! Over the last couple of years, rollerskating has had a major comeback, and Mikaela and I are no stranger to picking up that hobby again. I thought it would be so fun to incorporate skates into a flirty boudoir session, and maybe adding a little retro vibe as well.

Before we keep going, I highly recommend you check out Mikaela on instagram, she’s an incredibly talented, down to earth model here in Portland, OR!

First, we started with and outfit that we lovingly referred to as Mikaela’s alter ego (name suggestions please haha!) It was almost giving dark academia, but we just wanted to play around a little bit. The bellbottom pants really helped with that retro vibe, and her plaid rollerskates were on point!

Now this peachy matching bralette and panty is the absolute star of the show! And believe me, I already tried to get my hands on it for myself, this is from Mikaela’s personal closet and isn’t available anymore 🥲 So feel free to take your time scrolling through these to really appreciate it, haha. Mikaela experimented so many different poses for the fire escape that I am OBSESSED WITH, but most are definitely for my girlies who are not at all afraid of heights. You’ll see what I mean and understand. Posing with the rollerskates was not easy, but the shots we did get are so fun, sassy and sexy!!

Once we finished up the shoot with the skates, we had an extra outfit that Mikaela brought with her, and I’m never one to turn down more time spent taking photos. This outfit was giving soft, bridgerton vibes so I wanted to use that and go for some dreamy, hazy shots using a small mirror and shooting partially through my mesh white robe. I originally bought this little white robe intending for clients to wear it, but it’s the PERFECT way to get this white haze in camera, so I never let anyone wear it. 😂 We ended with some gorgeous direct light on the floor, and a gorgeous booty photo for the road.

This creative session was so fun, and full of inspiration for future boudoir photoshoots! Click the button below to get in touch, get more info, and schedule your own boudoir session!
