Self Love Boudoir Session
Another stunning, inspiring woman to admire on the blog today. Jennie came and she CONQUERED her boudoir photoshoot, and from our very first phone call I would’ve expected nothing less. Every consult call that I do I always ask “why are you wanting to do a boudoir session?” and I get various answers, and while lots of people will start with something along the lines of “I thought it would be a nice gift for my S/O,” it usually is followed by “but I really also want to do this for me.” Jennie came right out the gate and talked about how she finally has fully accepted herself and her body, and wanted to celebrate this amazing milestone in her self-love journey. I will never be able to recount her words as gracefully as she spoke them, but it was incredibly inspiring to me, and I’m so so thankful that she chose me to create these pieces of art with her that she can cherish every day.
Boudoir can be fun for anyone at any stage in their self-love journey, but it truly can be the cherry on top to your deep realization that you’re worthy and deserving of nice things exactly as you are. That spending your life hating yourself is a massive waste of energy, and while it takes time and work to get out of that mindset society has drowned us in, it’s so damn worth it. Jennie chose the Luxe Robe as her pre-session payment plan bonus and IT WAS PERFECT. She worked that robe like a pro, it totally brought out her inner bad & boujee queen. She went with the ever-so-popular Collection II, so she went home with her digital gallery the same day (!!!), all of her favorite images in an 8x8 keepsake album, and one of these robe photos printed on metal for her wall! Can you guess which photo?
Jennie’s last outfit was this gorgeous set from Thistle and Spire. She mentioned that she was so excited to wear it, although she’s not sure what lead her to buy it in the first place because she is super afraid of snakes LOL. It ends here, but there are definitely more that she deemed for her eyes only ;)
