Sexy & Confident Boudoir Photoshoot
Spoiler alert: This is another case of a gorgeous client feeling nervous AF before her session and then owning her photoshoot like it’s her 4th one this week 🔥 But first, let’s talk about something super important when you’re thinking about booking a boudoir photoshoot.
Choose Your Photographer Wisely
When I say this is the most important part of the booking process, I mean it. I mean it so much that I’ll say this: If you don’t feel like you can trust a photographer (that includes me!) 100% with your safety, privacy, comfort, confidence, and photographs, DO NOT BOOK THEM. This is crucial to your entire experience as a whole. Do your research, look at their google reviews, go over their website, read about them, and talk to them on the phone! This is the person you will be putting a massive amount of trust in, for a really vulnerable experience, so make it count!
Now let’s talk about this beauty featured here, Brooke! Brooke is another old friend of mine, and I cannot tell you how special it is that people have been following along since high school and decide to book with me now. Brooke brought so much variety as far as outfits, it was fun doing a little vibe change for each one. I think this next outfit, her partner’s button up shirt and fishnet tights is my personal favorite. Something hits with that blue 😍 Which outfit of hers is your favorite!?
Brooke came in feeling so anxious about her session, and even expressed some worries about not liking the final results. But something that most people will not truly understand until they experience it for themselves: my perspective through my camera, is going to be a completely different one than seeing yourself in the mirror. My artful eye and outsider’s perspective is infused into every photograph, which is why so many babes will say “I can’t believe that’s me” when they see their photos for the first time. It’s because you’re seeing yourself through someone else’s eyes. I love that my art and I get to be a part of that beautiful realization for my clients.
One of my favorite parts of boudoir photoshoots is definitely seeing how my Muse opens up, relaxes, and the confidence starts to build as the session goes on. The first 10-15 minutes is kind of the warm-up period, so I tend to keep the poses a little simpler, a bit more modest. I do this because I know after that, it gets a little more comfortable and my client is really starting to feel it! In short, you BLOOM. ❤️
