Sultry Portland Boudoir Studio Session
Women come to me wanting to do boudoir for all sorts of reasons; achieving a goal, a wedding or anniversary gift, celebrating a birthday, and so many others. Mackenzie came to me as she was going through a big life change, and wanted to do something to boost her confidence, and just help her feel good about herself going into a new chapter of her life. And you know we LOOOOVE to see a queen spoil herself!
Mackenzie came in with some nerves like most women do before their session, but when we actually started shooting she had a real “I’m up for anything!” kind of attitude, so it was amazing seeing her confidence grow as the day went on. I think the idea of stepping out of one’s comfort zone can get overwhelming to consider without realizing how much growth can come from it. So proud of Mackenzie for doing this for herself and nobody else because she’s worth it!
Can you believe this babe?! Like DAMN?! I love that we captured a few of her laugh as well, her smile needed to be documented. Comic relief during your session is my specialty, haha! For so many of my clients, they are experiencing a boudoir photoshoot for the first time, so it can be pretty intimidating to just strip to your skivvies in front of someone AND have them take pictures. That’s why I really prioritize a connection with my clients before and during their session, so that at least I won’t feel like a stranger, and rather a gal pal they can trust to create beautiful art with them.
Those bedroom eyes are unbeatable 😍 So sultry and sexy. Mackenzie decided on my most popular collection, which let her take home her full digital gallery that day (yay, same day image reveals!) an 8x8 album, and a metal wall art! She also chose the retro viewfinder as her pre-session payment plan bonus, which is such a fun and unique way to check yourself out! Bringing back our old toys in a new way, hehe.
