VOGUE Inspired Boudoir Photos

Another really fun shoot with a fun theme, beautiful Kristin came in ready to SLAY the Vogue inspiration I brought. For context, I was really wanting to go for dramatic lighting, stark contrast, and more alluding to the vintage 20’s Vogue styles. But first, we started with this gorgeous green SavageX set she brought, which was so lovely with her red hair!

I really enjoy the time I get to spend with my Muses while they are in hair and makeup. I get to learn so much about them, connect in so many ways, and just overall open up the space as a place that is comfortable and welcoming. Kristin shared a lot about her travels all over the world, and her passion for dance (and you can see that love for dance in the way she posed!)

Kristin chose to add the Luxe Robe to her session because, HELLO. The robe + the floral wall + the gold mirror = recipe for greatness. We paired it with a magenta pair of bottoms that have a whole booty cut-out and I AM OBSESSED. Everything just worked out so well and she absolutely nailed it. Kristin was showing us some dance movements, and we included a super sexy head roll in one and the way her hair falls over her eyes - I almost fell over IT’S SO GOOD!

Several elements came together to really convey that vintage Vogue aesthetic. We utilized the antique chair, and some different lighting for a more contrasted look. Kristin came through with the outfits, the final one really hit the home run! The tights were like the cherry on top *chef’s kiss* She owned this look and this entire session, I’m so so happy I got to do this with her. Such an honor to have this job and to celebrate women and their badass energy everyday.

Kristin took home her full digital gallery the day of her session (same day image reveals for the win!), she also got an 8x8 album with her favorite images in it, and a metal wall art print! Can you guess which photo she chose to put on the wall?
